IMMERGE: Kick-Off Meeting and 1st Supervisory Board Meeting

The IMMERGE Management Team is thrilled to announce that the online Kick-Off Meeting and the 1st IMMERGE Supervisory Board Meeting of the Consortium took place on March 13th, 2024.
It was a great opportunity to discuss about key points associated with the project.
Initially, the Scientific Coordinators, Dr. Esteban Ballestar and Dr. José Luis Sardina presented the Scientific idea of the Consortium, illustrating who are the IMMERGE members, the project overview and the governance structure.
In addition, Dr. Vittoria Spinosa, Project Manager (PM) of the Consortium, explained in detail the recruitment process and the functioning of the EC Funding & Tender Portal. Afterwards, she described the arrangement of the internal and external communication of the Consortium and remarking the importance of the results’ dissemination to different targets of audience.
Finally, the PM explained the Financial lifecycle and the importance of legal documents, such as the Grant Agreement and the Consortium Agreement.
Among the audience, there were IMMERGE project supervisors and members of their management staff who contributed to the final discussion of the meeting.
The Management Team is extremely thankful to all attendances and looks forward to having on board all the doctoral candidates.
